Collaborative Engineering for Lowest Lifecycle Cost


Our engineering group is driven by a philosophy of collaborative engineering to optimize the total manufacturing system. Ensuring our injection molds meet the “part to print” criteria is necessary, but is not sufficient to ensure that our clients’ total performance objectives are satisfied. Our emphasis on engineering collaboration with all participations (our client, the machine, resin and other component suppliers, and automation systems) is based upon a key objective of providing the Lowest Lifecycle Cost (LLC) of parts that are produced. Lowest Lifecycle Cost is achieved by an engineering phase focus on the optimization of the total system and not just of the injection molding silo.

With more than 20 years’ experience in an LLC approach, additional client benefits include:

  • a shorter timeline to full volume production and time to market;
  • reduced project risks for the client; and
  • a reduction in the number of parts and manufacturing steps required for the molding process and the related upstream and downstream manufacturing operations.

We manage and minimize project risks with specialized services. These services include:

  • production intent prototype tools (not your standard prototype), and
  • ship-to-plant ready-to-manufacture cycle time compression.
